Happy new year – glad I didn’t go out though, alhough the pubs were supposedly “peaceful” they would be way too crowded (plus my “local” is now the other end of the docks due to closure and the weather wasn’t exactly pleasant.
There has been at least one rape in the region, two fatal stabbing and attempt robbery on taxicab driver – he tried to fight back so they grabbed him in a headlock and made him slow down then steered the car to a lamp post (so evdn if they dont’ get money his car is written off). but most of this happened in Norfolk and Essex. (all Police holding cells are now full in Norfolk!) But even the feds and ambulance and fire are saying how quiet Suffolk was but this is because most people stayed in for both Xmas and NYE…
