April 10, 2007 at 8:53 pm #1102699haha the best response to the Roma “ultras” is that :weee:
even though i don’t support man u, i was backing them (actually i really want them to win the treble) and of course any british fan should have a huge grudge against roma by now 😉
April 10, 2007 at 9:07 pm #1102698absolutely loved it… just wish I was there not 30 mins walk down the road!!! :weee:

April 11, 2007 at 10:32 am #1102696Yeah Man U did them over. A little scary for the other teams in the champions league.
:laugh_at: I mean 7 -1 that’s a cricket score

April 11, 2007 at 1:32 pm #1102697Fantastic game and 7 great goals – eight if you include de Rossi’s consolation!
Was worried we may go out last night but tuned in just as replaying first goal and didn’t stop grinning all the way through – or today for that matter!!
My moneys on Utd v Liverpool for the final – dreading it – my fiance’s a Liverpool fan so would be hell in my household whoever won!
April 11, 2007 at 1:43 pm #1102695id love it if liverpool beat united in the final, but i dont think i could watch it:hiding:

agreed – premier league: plastic fans, controlled by sky, all about money and £50 a ticket…
naaah, i’ll stick with my league two grimsby town 😉
up the mariners, well over 100 years of support in the family and being continued raaa

so what game, if any, do you follow?
April 12, 2007 at 2:14 am #1102708football (below premier league level) is an escape …
to follow ‘your’ team … to feel part of something … thats what my team is to me …
April 12, 2007 at 2:16 am #1102702its a good day out too. with smaller clubs there is a good community spirit about it kinda. like all the regulars know each other, and it’s a good day out.
can be frustratin though. losing the play-off final last season 😥
April 12, 2007 at 2:29 am #1102709its the smaller clubs that need saving!
finacial difficulty my arse, why arent the ‘premier’ship teams propping up the division 2 and 3 clubs claiming bankruptcy … excuse spelling
tommmm
April 12, 2007 at 2:34 am #1102703yep the clubs that have a personality and a history!
dunno about tranmere but grimsby were right up shit creek when ITV-digital went bust and we lost because we had invested in something that was supposed to profit us long term… that had us on the brink of administration…
and as for money orientating football… MK Dons…. sickening. AFC Wimbledon are the true team, how can the FA allow someone to buy a club, relocate it, change it’s name, desert it’s fans and then steal their place in the football league…. now the once great wimbldon are in the county leagues :hopeless:
MK Dons = Franchise FC :you_crazy

April 12, 2007 at 10:41 am #1102710best sport in the world … no doubts at all
and yeah tranmere where financially drowning, letting people get in for free and then making money of the food sales etc …
stand by the smaller teams, where its not all about the money
