So is anyone else putting themselves through the mayhem thats is the pilton festival ticket dash, or do you think its lost its edge and gone far to comercial?
Anyone got any tips for making sunday less stressful and for obtaing tickets. I think im gona tic a weed and keep my eye on the efests and urban75 threads for a direct link to the buying page and also use the international phone line because thats how i got tickets in 2004.
Also where else could I get a good dose of festival bizzarness if I dont get tickets? obviousley therse glade but my mate likes her bands. Ive heard the green gathering is good and womad to but I do need some techno… so what you sayin? :toxic:
March 26, 2007 at 6:51 pm #1101862Im sorted, gettin 2 free tickets n dnt have 2 do anything! But in the past ive foned them on mobile, landline and various internet sites, stil pretty hard tho.
March 26, 2007 at 6:58 pm #1101856Yeah me and the boyf are gearing ourselves up for a mammoth stint frying our brains on 2 mobiles, landline, a PC and laptop… have a few tricks up my sleeve tho for bypassing the chaos, but I wish I already had 2tickets sorted!!!!!
My mam bought me a camper van for my 21st which broke down on the way to Beautiful Days last year (it’s first ever festival) so i’m adamant that I WILL take it to Glasto – even if i have to push it from Wales!!!
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!

I would go if the tickets wernt so hard to get hold of. Im just not as up for it as i used to be. I think its changed in the short time i been going which i think is about 8 years. There was a time when i couldnt wait for the next one to come round i was probibly counting down the days i just couldnt explain how great it was to people who had never been but it just dont feel the same to me anymore. Theres alot more dodgy people go now. I even got mugged not to many years ago :mad_curse (im not very proud of that but there was alot of them OK!) I would recomend trying to get tickets to anyone who ent been before tho cos its really something you gotta experience. Im going to the big green gathering this year i reckon its more my kinda thing. It looks like proper lushness:love:

It’s ‘cos upto 100,000 people came in over the old fence, many just to slash tents and make off with what they could.
Now there is next to no “anti-social” crime at all.
March 27, 2007 at 9:28 pm #1101866I think i went in 2005? But hey things change i guess you either change with them or change the things your doing. Hopefully glastonbury carries on for many years and if so im sure i will be back cos it aint all bad actually most of it is still really really great But i think i’ll give it a miss for a while.
