oi oi gang!
well its that time of year again – fancy stress!
so far im either thinking of going the whole hog and getting a beetlejuice costume, or budget and painting an evil mono brow on me!
whats the best haloween fancy stress youve seen?

October 28, 2011 at 12:21 pm #1246053My budget Halloween costume is the one in my avatar – about 10 bin bags gaffa-taped all over my body to cover it all (I won the Tribe of Frog fancy dress competition last year! Got a free psy-trance CD for it!).
Was fucking hot in there though, not really what you want to wear in a club! And stepping outside afterwards, the pint of sweat sloshing around in the costume instantly chilled down to about 5 degrees!

Dunno mate, tbh I have no money so haven’t really thought about it. I didn’t even know it was halloween until I saw this thread! What’s going on in Bristol this weekend then?
Btw I think I ended up at one of your nights the other week – well it was an old garage in stokes croft with a void rig in it called the “roast beef” or something. There was a guy with a laptop playing some mad experimental techno!

that was us! woop! did you enjoy it? i really liked it, good venue, good music etc i did get far too off my head!har!
its my mates band “the mother beef!” and the experimental techno was another mate “linear”
i think there are plans to take that on a tour next year, ill keep you posted if we do

Mother beef- that was it. Funny cos when I walked in I was actually eating a massive box of cooked beef that I’d drunkenly bought from the offie across the road!
Was an interesting venue. Didn’t stay long tbh though so only saw the guy with the laptop, we just wandered in on the way back from the pub and weren’t really up for a big one.
If you’re touring that sound system and need an engineer let me know!

Going as true blood character, fangs and blood comin out my eyes (they cry blood in the show)
We ususally have a halloween party but cant afford to put one on this year, so were just off to our local pub which is doing a fancy dress party we think….
the best one I did before was zombie prom, had a prom dress on with a prostetic (really well made) slashed neck and blood allover neck / dress etc and zombie white contacts in etc 🙂
