Well I think I might be in the minority here but I really enjoyed myself, sure it was poorly organised and expensive but I didn’t let that bother me too much. It was easy to sneak drinks in to the arena, we did it countless times, it only took about 10 mins to get back to the tent and there were plenty of water points inside they were just sneakily hidden. The only real problem was the weather as it resulted in the chem bros not playing but I wasn’t overly bothered about that either. The acts I did catch were phenomenal, true I did mainly only see elctro acts but wow! The prodigy digitalism and justice made it for me. As much of them as I can remember anyway.

it was definitly a good night, but definitly way too expensive, and queing for stuff does my head in (no different to buying balloons at a party tho)
but at the end of the day, i would have prefered some proper hard dance and a rig you can get nice and close to.

If the music had been better even or the soundsytems had been louder ever it would have been better.
Just making enquiries to litter pick at glade, GC really has put me off dance music things so it has made me dubious as to whether I should part with my money again.

its not as if that place is raved every weekend, but they won’t even tolerate one night of partying and the moment the sound goes over a certain level they will whinge to the council and even call 999 (despite this not being an appropriate use of “nines” as its not immediate danger to life or property)
too many complaints and the promoters lose their license..
I think the problem is when people start depending on this scene for their living/day job – because it operates on the fringes of society (even legal events) its very easy for cops / authorities to lean on them and make them comply..

I had to work all weekend at my hotel.
Loads of the gatecrasher dj’s and personel stayed.
My job is events co ordinator there so i had to look after them all.
I got given free tickets by prodigy on saturday, couldnt go sat night though as had work sunday morning.
Came bk to work on the sunday, chilled out with the likes of chromeo <3 justice boys noize oakenfold mark ronson etc etc etc.
Got put on guestlist by organiser.
Left work went gatecrasher bout 4in afternoon.
Had an awesome time, all wellied up fresh faced and warm.
wasnt really raining just wet in the air.
saw loads of my mates.
Backstaged it.
Left at 7 in the morning and went home to a nice warm bed.
I love my job, hotels right by silverstone racetrack, gt grand prix coming up soon, F1 ball :weee:
