Fruity Loops Issue

getting playback in pattern mode but no playback in song mode

anyone know why

is it because the p2p version of the software is dodgy ?

I don’t use fruity so I’m not the best person to be giving you advice, but have you entered the pattern in to the sequencer before playing in song mode?

see the white arrow, there are 2 icons there patt and song, normally before i downloaded this version, i could switch from pattern mode after putting say 12 patterns of 32 together and by clicking the song icon i could hear the toon played back from pattern 1 through to pattern 12.

not sure why it doesnt work now though unless it’s cause the software is dodgy

sorted it now by dropping the patterns into the playlist window, it used to work the other way though

ye gods i miss the fruityloops. got FLStudio 5, might tinker with it next week if i get the time… might just even make the time 🙂

That’s what I meant mate. playlist window = sequencer

thats what i thought you meant, i used to do that bit after assembling 20 or 30 patterns and listening to them consecutively using the song / pattern thingymabob.

a minor inconvenience though so mustnt grumble since i didnt pay for the proggy anyway
