I have always wished that there were more free party’s on the friday night. I guess its hard with the crews and other folk working and what not. Used to know a rig that went out on fridays a lot but then they got bigger and went over to saterdays.
Wouldn’t friday partys in the summer be a fun idea though?

I managed to actually get banned from Basingstoke and the surrounding areas in 1992..
January 29, 2010 at 6:50 pm #1222539the legal events in Ipswich were (and many still are) on a Friday night. However it is harder for people who work especially those who work longer hours, either to help out with them or attend them.
there were parties in SE England on Fridays but the cops tended to be more on top as they assumed (perhaps correctly) that it was a way of extending the weekend so thats two days of drugs and driving under the influence, and also if parties are put on by crews with loads of NEETS feds start wondering where the money comes from…

From what I remember of Basingstoke its probably no great loss to be banned from it.

i heard someone telling there kid aldermaston was on the way to basingstoke from newbury, the other day…..i tittled to myself in a pompas prick kind of way

to be fair if I still lived in the area and was cycling there (putting aside the fact there are very few reasons for me to even want to go to Basingstoke) I would be more inclined to take that route from Newbury, rather than ride on the A339 which would probably be dangerous (unless there is a cycle path there – I have no idea!)
