Found a rare candle holder in a charity shop for £2 the other week I’ve just sold it on Ebay for £6665 I’m pretty chuffed with myself :weee:

this is the best ever profit i’ve had though, i’ve had a £266 erner from a charity shop before but nothing in this league…

it might shock a few folk on here but i’m one of the leading authoritys on 20c art glass in the uk if not the world.
i’m a full time dealer with a shop n everything, if i’m not out serching for stuff i’m on line reading and reserching. find something you like then reserch it find out what other pieces they did then find out who there influences were and competitors then reserch them…
start with a millers guide to collectables then go from there.

I have a huge collection from victorian (mainly in boxes in the loft) to lots 0f 40- 60’s stuff displayed
wouldnt want to sell any of it on,
brought most of it in the late 80 – early 90’s then it just started to to get too expensive for me
occesionally I find a bargin bu t they seem too clued up now days :hopeless:

the only stuff i keep is the realy exeptional signed rare stuff otherwise i’d be snowed under.
