I would expect Mozilla foundation have security measures against this risk (including working with FBI, SOCA etc) and hopefully to deal with the surge in traffic this causes!
As much as I support Firefox and other open source ventures I feel this is a somewhat risky marketing tactic, as Raj points out if it causes traffic disruption and extra hassles to people on an already flaky in parts internet, it may be seen as counterproductive..
That’s hysterical – the pledge map has the US as a tiny country tacked to the south and west of Canada – which is huge… If only it were true, and the mainland US was inhabited mostly by Canadians raaaraaaraaa (the world would surely be a calmer place…:laugh_at:)
