Sadly, all the links on this site are now dead, due to a rather over-zealous old skool producer 🙁
May 31, 2012 at 11:13 am #1191330On the other hand, Old Skool Jungle Music – Hardcore – Drum and Bass Blog – Drumtrip is a great site worth checking out!

Whas he feeling rather butt-hurt : (
So were they just mixes of jungle/dnb?? cos if so I don’t know how this sites downloads section gets by? mental man.
June 2, 2012 at 1:41 am #1191241This was actually linked to from a film about the Belgian Coastguard (which a lad working there made). He is only about our age.
A young Estonian lad who is on the crew of the cargo ship made this film. The ship itself is flagged in the Netherlands – the Dutch guy who commented was also on the crew.
I think it got linked in this way is because in a storm like that on the North Sea the Coastguards of all maritime nations in the area (UK, NL, BE, DE, NO, DK, SE, EE, FI and IS ) keep watch on it using AIS, radar and even old style telescopes and check that everything is in order. its safer than some bulk cargo as the worst case is a few containers might go over the side but wrongly stored bulk cargo could go straight through her side, with very unpleasant consequences for all on board :yakk: I personally wouldn’t particularly enjoy being on watchkeeping in that sort of weather though..

it looks theoretically possible to tune in to our radio from INMARSAT, though it would probably cane a quarter of the ships bandwidth and probably cost a few € but not that much nowadays. it wouldn’t cause any safety problems as all the kit is set so emergency traffic has priority and HF and VHF radio can still also be used.

June 12, 2012 at 11:31 am #1191348i’d recomend any of the Barcode Filthcasts some are a few years old now but if you like producers that bring the filth into dnb and jungle stream or d/l for free here
June 21, 2012 at 3:29 am #1191355ill skillz directions is a good tune try pacman (ram trilogy mix) too
September 6, 2012 at 8:22 pm #1191353My bro’s Jungle remix of Cutty’s Full Blast – proper jungle rinseout of a tune that was just begging for it…
If you’re on there then a vote would be great, some very mediocre other entries in the competition seem to have lots of dubious votes… if you’ve got time though check out a few, think you’ll agree his is deserving.
Shameless plug I know, but motivated out of junglism more than nepotism 🙂
