I still listen to late 90s early 00s trance music. Dark progressive Oakenfold essential mixes sasha at twilo ect. Not so interested in what is going on in the dance world right now. Plink plink plink whatever… Anybody else like feel nostalgic about the scene of the late 90s?

i like good trance, i do not class oakenfold as good trance! dark german trance etc of the 90s,

check out some of the commander tom stuff, jones & stephenson etc

but its not a genre im massivly into,

hardcore techno all the way! woop!

hardtek is PENG!!! guigoo & all the narkotek guys are biiiig, well i say trance isn’t a genre i indulge in very often, i do like tech trance just because it’s got a bit of stomp to it. marcel woods advanced is a good’en

It doesn’t have to be that ”deep” for me to get into it. I could give to shits about what is popular or ”credible”. Then again I don’t like to pretend. If it hits my ears and I like it than thats that. A good song is a good song. Some of these tracks moved 50.000 copies in the 90s.

I like old skool trance that they used to play on Radio 1 and Vibe FM years ago, i hate all types of hard trance apart from a few of the new progressive tunes that are coming out, mainly the ones made by one of my mates but there u go!

Some of the new techno out at the minute is banging, the old stuff has got pretty boring tbh.

I fucking hate trance music, sorry but it’s just so cheesy and cringe worthy. Out of all the electronic genres, Trance is by far the worst in my opinion.

me the top 5 hates are:
1. dubstep
2. drum & bass*
3. hard trance
4. grime
5. death metal
* doesn’t include dark D&B or jungle as some people think there the same thing

hahah we have quite different tastes, my top 5 likes are:

1.Liquid DnB
2.Dubstep(but it has to be good dubstep)
3.Electro house
4.Tribal house

Top 5 hates are:
1.Trance(of any kind but i tend to respect kinda psychedelic progressive trance more)
2.Death metal
3.The mainstream popy shit like JLS, Justin Bieber ect.

The top 5 likes are only out of electronic music, I can’t be bothered to go into my music taste in general, would take so long.

I’ve stopped say I hate this and that a long time ago, but psy-trance can get me negative..other than that I often get surprised of music I thought I hated, hate stylies love good music….
