maybe these are more common in Scotland – perhaps they might eat some of the midges :laugh_at:

i used to hate the urm Maybugs/maybeatles or what ever they are, they are brown bugs that are of a good size. used to have them in somerset when i were down there. Evil Evil things always squashed them when they landed on my bed :yakk: :yakk: not nice to wake to!

I met giant flyng roaches in New Orleans …but I doubt there are any tropical swamps in Scotland

i am now regretting it as those of you who know me its a lot of work that needs doing in my GOB
Ill be getting some sort of Vallium based stuff im getting intraveinously (200 quid for that pleasure alone, it had better get me off my head)
im off to throw up because ive thought about it againp.s.
48 hrs before and 24 hrs after no puff no beerthe missus says shes off till im done lol !

March 21, 2007 at 12:19 pm #1101405Flying cockroaches were things I encountered on my travels in hot climates along with dinner plate sized spiders and scorpions :yakk: [insects in the UK are small cute little things and I can co-exist with them np :wink:]

Nah has some scary insects in Cypress when i lived out there, actually my old dear had an incounter with a Scorpion. Lucky for her it was a baby one so apparently the venom wasn’t as strong as it could have been raaa
