I don’t DJ but I have a PC and a pair of Sony laptop speakers that sound way better than they should (sound comparison in PC world. 🙁 one day I will have better I hope but the quality is really good for not too loud music. Nice dynamic range (I think not;not entirely sure what that means)

Nearly all the DJ’s are really fussy about everything from sound equipment to power supplies etc and apart from some of the more indepth threads here its not as common a topic on a forum like this (more on the electronics forums where older chaps than me with proper beards are).

As not everyone knows Dutch (I only started learning myself in 2008) perhaps we could start one here?

we might not make 1370+ pages, but I’m sure there is some good things we could come up with… (not just from UK and Europe but those of you in USA and Canada and Asia are of course welcome to contribute)

Im a total bedroom DJ and dont profess to have any skill with cdj’s or vinyl…… so I use a traktor S2 and traktor on a macbook pro though. Oh I’ve got a numark turntable setup for my reggae and dub vinyl, but the other one is under me bed doing nout

My housemate has two cdj 2000’s and one cdj 3000’s set up slap bang next to mine, and I am planning on burning some cd’s and learning to properly mix by ear, rather than half by ear, half by software.

No idea what my amp is, apart from its a yamaha, and my speakers are hand downs from my Uncle who’s a total rock music audiophile. I’ve got some much better bang and olufsens, but they’re at my folks as I can’t fit them in my gaff 🙁
