July 28, 2010 at 8:51 pm #1227928Anonymousi’d be up for buying turntables, thing is i have no vinyls and cba buying all the tracks from all the styles of music i (try to) mix
there is no point when i can download full HQ tracks off of youtube onto blank CD’s for free!
turntables are the best way to start off djing no question, unfortunetly as you get used to using CD’s there is no turning back
😉
July 28, 2010 at 8:54 pm #1227935I wouldn’t download off youtube personaly – torrents probably best.
(I’m sure you’ll loose quality on youtube – but I may be wrong)
July 28, 2010 at 9:01 pm #1227929Anonymousduno man if you hunt down the names of the dj/producer/record label who made the track your after, they often have it uploaded in super high quality, gotta be really fussy some times though, theres no point in downloading shit quality records! 😉
July 30, 2010 at 10:52 am #1227930Anonymoustrackitdown.com is best. isnt free tho

using citronic mpcds6’s at the moment. have been for over a year, the time has come to upgrade.
got a djm700 mixer and want to go for pioneer cdjs as well. the thing is there expensive as fuck, even a cdj 400 is 500 odd quid:crazy: and fuck buying anything 2nd hand tbh.
August 6, 2010 at 12:59 am #1227938CDJ 200’s are quite cheap
August 6, 2010 at 11:47 am #1227943Mp3 controllers? Work the same as CD decks, much cheaper, still good quality, just internal mixer… merh 2bh you need cd dex and ya vestax’ if you wan a real setup, along with the djm mixer.. numark do a wikid imitation of the djmx pioneer mixer they use in all the clubs. . . n pioneer cdj’s all the way really, if you can aford em… othawise.. theres a world of mp3 controllers out there just search on google!
September 22, 2010 at 11:48 pm #1227944cdj 1000 mk3’s, the cdj equivelent of 1200s. 2000s are total overkill and the menu’s are sooooo slow. file types are so fidly on 800s aswell
