This is MoonSuns 1st release,the idea of Dark Steps of the Mind comes from the reason that we must explore this music through the dark paths of our mind, to reach the path of our darkest fears. Various Artists join in this compilation of dark experience to bring u a different view in Dark Psychedelic Music. Bringing u this V.A will bring the people into the way of what we call the dark path,to reach the path of our deepest fears.

Kalilaskov AS (Israel)
Emerging from the deepness of the israelian underground, Kalilaskov AS is among the new young emerging figures of the psychedellic scene. Russian born, he moved to Israel in the 90’s to settle down. He got very fast into the electronic music scene in 1998 when he had his first psychedelic experimentations (Another Dr Hoffman disciple). Kalilaskov AS project started in 2000 and for 5 years, time and efforts were spend on creating original sounds and trying crazy stuffs. It’s now the time for Kalilaskov AS to make you experience this crazy new vibes design to take you to another realm of awarness.

A.P.E vs Jul

A.p.e is Eran Aharoni from Israel (1982) making psy since he is 15
Currently Eran’s style is a mixture of full on and dark trance with a
touch of d&b / Techno.
Jul is Gil Stolar from Israel (1983)
making psy since he is 17 ,jull is part of Outer Signal (Jul & Josh – 3Dvision Rec)
A.p.e & Jull style is dark dancefloor orianted style,with a pinch of techno influances
Jul also has a side project with Eran A.p.e (Shiva Space Japan Rec) and their style is a mixture of dark and fullon atmospheres to creat a strong dance floor sound.
Jul has been recocnized by his unique groovy style, his music is pure energy generating, with flow synths and uniqe vibe that makes pure psychedelic chaos on any dancefloor.

Adi & Kerberos

Paskal aka Kerberos was born 24/02/79 in Berlin (Germany). His base is still in Berlin and he has been producing psytrance since the beginnings of 2005. Influenced from Death-Metal, Techno, Trance and other music styles he is creating now his dangerous tunes with a minimum of equipment material. Paskal (DJ Kerberos) is currently having a project going on with the name Mania-X. Working a lot with sampls, effects, midi, vst-instruments and also scary and weird sounds from horror movies.
ADI …Music found its way early in his life. With a distinct ear for all genres of music , making and playing wit music was a natural instinct.
His music can be best described as a symmetry in chaos. Adi the artist is inspired by the illogical systems of society , and is an urge to awaken the deep primal selves helping a spiritual travel within a bound that spheres the universe. Dark , aggressive and fun.. his DJ sets will leave u in a an alien groove wit high pitched sounds that reverb in ur happy night mares.
To connect wit his audience thru his distorted audiowaves he wants to deliver a different set of information to b recorded in their brain forever.

Hagenith

Hagenith is a solo project from Andrej Tasevski.
Andrej Tasevski also known as Hagenith is born on 18 march 1990 in town of Kumanovo, Macedonia.
Andrej start playing piano on his 7 years.
Andrej decided to start making music in winter 2004.
He started by working on Fruity Loops 4, after some time he switched on FL 5.
In early 2005, he made a step to Cubase, inspired by Distorted Goblin.
His main influences are artists like Kindzadza, Azax Syndrom, Ocelot and many more.
He already worked with people like Hishiryo, Oxidelic, Distorted Goblin, Darko Janevski (his close friend)

DarkShiRe

Mario Sounoglou is the man besides DarkShiRe Project.Borned n lived in Athens 22 years old studied computer science in lamia central greece. All these began at early 2000 when mario discovered psychedelic trance n starting to go to parties n festivals around greece. The next years following by listening lot of different styles on psy trance n trying to figure out what s going on this story… At august 2004 mario first time under the fully guidance of dimitri (dark elf) @ K.G.B Laboratories see how machines are used to create sounds… At same time mario meets viktor n in a visit of viktor in greece they was working on a trak at his place n that time he saw that goood results can come out even not lots of machines there… Somewhere there darkshire his solo project sees his birth. Music style that influenced him most was viktor s music n generally the russian innovative wave… Then it began at the place that he was studying, lamia (central greece) a long experimenting period with very close friends stefano (Detonator), dimitri (Dark elf) n gregory (part of Kokobloko project).

Double Trouble

Double Trouble is the project of Andreas [Apnea] and Dimitri [Dark Elf], or known before as ‘THE NAZGUL PROJECT’ (2003), but they switched name in 2005… This project was automatically made, let’s say Dimitri and Andreas discovered music technology on computers quite together in the same time, and this project has for examples no releases for now (many unfinished work) but served them to learn and experiment on many many things !!! The good thing is that they use this project for real live, or vs set, but then also play tracks from their solo projects into the mix… Double Trouble performances in Free Parties in Greece have a lot of feedback !!! ‘Trouble x 2’ has many influences, dark or melodic, but very axed on percussions and fat basslines, it reminds of something with a hard tribal mood…
The project has been frozen many times, but is still here, and for 2007 u can expect a lot more as they finally decided to keep it up at any costs !!!

Narcosis

Saltos Iraklis aka Narcosis was born in Athens – Greece on June 1984.
From a child he learn music in a music school in Cyprus when he live there for some years.
In 1996 he tried to learn some simple softwares programs to produse music.
and later years fl-studio, Reason, Cubase and finally at the end of 2004 nuendo!
He studied Music Technology and Sound Engineer in a College in Athens.
He played for the 1st time as a dj in 1998 in Athens with some local djs.
Doing he’s own parties
as a promoter with “Paranormal Research” from 1998 till today he is trying to support
the local scene in Greece.

Nexus

Miguel and i was born in Lisbon (Portugal). I started working with music 5 years ago, doing dj sets in industrial clubs (Lisbon, Porto and Coimbra), that was when my experience with electronic music started. My first contact with goa trance was in the year 2000 listening to Astral Projection, Hallucinogen, Chi AD and more… I started going to trance parties in 2001. Later that year, me and a friend of mine started a project called n3xu5, our firt live act was in December, a small party. In february 2002 was our first big party in Portugal. After my friend left the project, i continued the project by my self, evolving my own style.

Para Halu

Para Halu started in the spring of 2002 by Andras Fekete (Pondesz), Adam Hohmann (Homen), and two friends of them. Later Christian Steiner and Mark Bokay left the project, but they did not finish working together: Christian and Adam are still running the Diarrhoea and Mandrugorrah (Mistress of Evil Records) projects. Adam is working as full-time producer in several side projects also, among others in The Path, running with Peter Takacs aka Deto, and currently working on their debut album together with Para Halu. The album will be released in 2007, under the name Para Halu on The Path. Beginning with the dark, wild and energetic psychedelic tunes, in the past few years they got to the deep, hypnotic, portentously wreathing, and more complex brain-massage-sounding. They continously doing gigs all over the world and on the biggest festivals with their energetic-atmospheric live sets. Besides the “Grandfather of goa”, nighttime darkpsy djs far and wide also love to play their tracks, though in some places in the world Para Halu is sometimes asked to appear in the morning hours. They released their first album in 2002..
