stuff like homemade spag bol, chilli, lasange, soup
are pretty idiot proof and cheap in the long term as you can cook up a big batch and fridge or freeze the rest and live on it for a while – thats what I do as I dont mind eating the same stuff for a few days
and tuna salad lasts me a few days and you can have in jacket potatoe / pitta
I also like omlete / boiled / scambeled etc eggs but I always get organic free range which are much more expensive

i missed out omelettes! yumm cheap + MEGA tasty if u can make em right

seriously though there are often cheap offers on bottles of beer in many supermarkets,
I’d stick one of those “cool thread” smiley signs on here but I’m too pissed to look if we have one and I don’t even know where half the signs what appear on here come from these days..
last weekend mudstomper was saying something about cheese sauce as he had made cauliflower cheese and cod with brocolli (he had to cheat this time and buy it from the co-op as you needed a “shitload of cheese”. I didn’t mind, but had to eat quickly as the cats were trying to mug me (the oldest female actually swiped me with a paw as I wouldn’t give them any food (they had loads of cat food!) and i had to meow at her like a siamese tomcat)

alcohol aisle was near the side-door exit
used to walk in, 2 or 3 of us, open bags just before we got there, walk past spirits section, drop some bottles straight into our bags, walk casually out and if somebody did notice we fucking legged it out the door to our left
they then got detectors on the side-door, we didnt realise and it set the alarms off for the entire shop. we stopped after that.
ah the days of being 14 and bored on your lunch break.
