That – is – awesome !!!! I bet it wears out your tapes though lol I would love to have a go on it. I used to have a expensive sony cassete walkman and that had pitch adjust on it, and I always thought if I could get two of them I could try and mix with it. (Young and stupid)

by then stereo reel to reel decks were quite common in the Soviet countries (may have even been made in Latvia) and as they used a synchronised motor (to 50 Hz mains) by varying this frequency pitch control could be added..
