sorry to hear this – it must be doubly hard given the career path you have chosen which is about preserving life and health.

At least you tried to do the best you could – there is a limit to what others can do if an individual has definitely hit rock bottom…

At the end of the day it was their choice and you did what you could – thats all you can do and all anyone can reasonably expect of you.

You cant make another’s persons choices for them nor should you rip yourself up inside because they ended their life despite your efforts. You are not a god and that decision was not yours to make.

Dont let misplaced guilt twist your emotions and decisions in the future – if you do plenty of other people may miss out on your very competent help which they will appreciate as this person did not.

Thank you for your support people, honestly I mean that, maybe I’m too emotional
Normally I’d keep that kind of nastyness bottled up. But that one affected me, I’d tried so hard. So i went to the ship, got back and drank a bottle of smart price rum when I got back, sorry people i didn’t mean to dump on you guys.
Sorry if i’ve been a bit lax on keeping up on this site, did we have a good crimbo and new new year? I randomly went to the nec, anybody else there?

If you had not gotten upset about it it would have indicated a lack of feeling for your fellow man [not a pretty trait IMO] – its better to feel it and then move on than be immune to it. Caring is always better than uncaring :flowers:

Me NYE and X-mas were good thanks. Didn’t go mad or anything, just had small parties with friends most of the time but it was most enjoyable.
