      hello, can anyone please please help me…
      Does anyone know how a load of porno links can turn up in my mums html for her website (a proper one not myspace lol) ?
      They keep coming into her html, and her first instinct was that her website designer was being an asshole…

      But if anyone has ANY ideas please that would be good 🙂
      Just more and more porn is appearing in her html and god knows how it got there.

      If google spiders enough it will chuck her out the search engine when she has worked so hard for her business 🙁
      I really hope someone can help! even the slightest idea we are thankful for! 🙂 thankyou

        Does your mum or her web designer use FTP to upload and manage the website?

        If so then the password for the ftp may have been harvested by a packet sniffer. Get her to contact her host (the people that provide the web space) and change her password, then use SFTP (secure file transfer protocol) in the future if it is possible.

          she presumes thats it but she cannot get hold of her web designer as he seems to be ignoring her, although she has done nothing wrong. if it was him who put it there… hmmm…
