I used to feel really good when i was a chef and i would cook for a wedding party and the food looked awesome and they loved it.
Best jobs i think are anyone that you feel satisfied with.

yer the appriciation of the customer was always worth it. now i work in the souless world of sales

workin with food always puts me off it; did strawberry pickin one summer 20 years ago (the rule was you could eat yourself silly an we all did, for a few days then . . . :yakk: ) an am still not that fussed about em. did some shifts in a cheese factory for extra cash for a bit an that put me off cheese. did quite a bit of time in a restaurant an that put me off everything, was well skinny by the end of that.
