i was thinking these:
Which seem pretty good for the money, cause you can get em off of Amazon for about £20. Anyone got any better suggestions?
November 26, 2008 at 2:57 pm #1188429its wierd have had a look at Bang and olfsun’s, Boshe and shure’s headphones and there all really, really expensive and almost impossible to fiind the spec for esp B&O. and the ones that ive found the spec for seem totally shit compared to these sennheisers… looks like ive made my decision 😉

November 26, 2008 at 11:07 pm #1188433Can anyone recommend headphones which would be good for jogging? 😉
November 26, 2008 at 11:51 pm #1188426i use senn HD215
Sennheiser HD 215 headphones Review – Multimedia Reviews – TrustedReviews
at first they might seem a bit bulky to wear in the street but get over that and enjoy the looks 😉
they are incredibly comfortable, weigh nothing, with no background noise and are tough and flexible (about the bendiest cans I’ve come across) and when i brought them to a festival last summer one of the other (waaaaaaay more experienced) DJs said that they were the best cans he’d ever used…. get immersed in that music in any setting… when i use them at home i can’t hear the kids screaming at me
November 27, 2008 at 11:26 am #1188430think im gonna get these
Sennheiser Worldwide: HD 25-1 II – HD 25-1 II
Had em before when i used to mix and they were really good, i was gonna get some in ear ones, but as i plan on getting back into mixing soon i reckon i might as well get these now… £125 quid tho! :hopeless:
November 29, 2008 at 5:39 pm #1188435I would have recommended these from amazon:
Klipsch Custom 1 – High Performance Noise-Isolating In: Amazon.co.uk: Electronics & Photo
I ordered them about a week ago for something like £17.98 on special offer. They would have been great for jogging but they’ve gone back up to full price now. :crazy_diz
November 30, 2008 at 2:12 pm #1188427I use cx 500’s and they are alright nothing to write home about.
Most of the brands mentioned in this thread are charging for their name. I hate sony but my mate bought these and they are as good as mine for half the price.
I would always avoid B&o and bose at all cost. Overpriced nonsense for people with more money than sense.
November 30, 2008 at 2:58 pm #1188425Bang and Olusfen started becoming a triumph of design over value for money many years before I was born..

I would stick with those ones as they are simaler to the ones you get with a sony ericson phone (which I own 1) and I find em shit hot would not want any others (for walking about, joging etc..) there loud an they hardly ever come out plus they are realy comfterble!!

ive found those cx500’s for £10 on amazon so i might have to get them
Amazon.co.uk: Used and New: Sennheiser CX 500 – High Quality Noise Isolating Ear-Canal Headphones With Volume Control – BlackWhat i really want is these…
Biggest frequency response, but think they might be a bit big for runnin and a bit expensive for taking to free parties…!
Sennheiser Worldwide: HD 650 – HD 650
Although with B&O and Bose you are definatly paying for the name i dont think its the same with Sennhieser as they are really well built and not too expensive for what they are imo..January 3, 2009 at 12:37 am #1188434I’ve got the Sennheiser CX300s and love them. Totally recommend them for everyday use, although if you want mixing headphones you will probably need something more substantial.
January 29, 2009 at 8:49 pm #1188437For earbuds, I’m a Shure man. For closed back, I like Sennheiser.
But
For recommeding a ~£10-15 pair of earbuds, I always suggest the JBL reference 220. I’ve bought five pairs for various friends. Always under £15 new on ebay.
