There were some wicked remixes of U92 – “Das Boot” going around, even when it was first released.

I also like that tune, by Wishdokta l think – called “Only If I Had One More” or someat.

Oh, one more: Code Red (not the later boy band!) – “Dreamer Dream” (1992)

Oh, and the various remixes of Acen – “Trip To The Moon” hehehehehehe.

Oh yeah, and Shy FX & UK Apache – “Original Nuttah”

The tune that first got me into rave was Prodigy – “Charly”, l just love that hoover sound, l’ve even got the synth that was originally used to make that sound – the Roland Alpha Juno 2 (Juno 1 and various other Roland synths make that sound too – l can even make it on a Roland SH101 if l put the sound through an 8-channel chorus on a separate effects section on an external sampler etc.

I was at a nigtclub in the mid-90s and l was pilled up and l heard a tune like this or maybe it was this tune, but the DJ kept bringing it and out of the mix and it had a profound effect on me, there was this guy at the bar and he was like the tune personified or something!
