May 22, 2008 at 9:49 pm #1172301looks good, I think thats where Scouse is going to be studying (well in a uni campus, not wandering about in the woods)
at least work gave you the time to explore, last time I was on a business trip ended up in a basement of a warehouse in Soviet East Berlin in 2001 (although the Wall no longer existed the divded mindsets did) for most of the 6 days configuring computers for a Turkish TV station what was like a real life Borat :laugh_at:

Exactly.
Whilst people I know are wondering “why did you move to this soulless place better known for serial killers, footy hooligans and on total rave/nightlife lockdown” I’ve actually found my normal life is better than it ever has been and when I do go out i enjoy it way more..

May 24, 2008 at 11:59 am #1172311Where were those pictures taken? I’m pretty sure I’ve been to that last place. Sort of near Kinloch Rannoch, ain’t it? Maybe…
Fuckin’ love Scotland. Favourite country I’ve ever visited. Got quite a bit of family up there. Just so beautiful… Love the fact that you can pretty much walk all day, in the middle of nowhere, and not encounter other people. 🙂

May 24, 2008 at 2:20 pm #1172312Ah, bingo! Had an inkling that was The Hermitage… My gran lives in Dunkeld, which is about a mile away from The Hermitage. Been there loads of times. The waterfall there is sweet. They have an Enchanted Forest event around that area in Autumn, where they light up the trees in various colours. Looks really nice.
And, yeah, Queen’s View, that’s the one! Been there too, after going to my cousin’s wedding at Kinloch Rannoch. So majestic there. 🙂
