Heh, funny you should post this up, I’ve recently been looking for some FX instruments that allow you to pitch-shift the cents of a sound, as opposed to the semitones, without any stepping. I use the Albino3 VST a lot and one of the major drawbacks, for me, is the lack of ‘hands on’ pitch control (has to be done via LFOs and envelopes). Every synth should come with a detune knob as standard IMO. :p

Hopefully this thread will yield some good results. 🙂

I used to have a really good pitchshifter. It wasn’t a VST, just a standalone prog that would export the results. Forgot what it’s called though. These days I just use Soundforge’s built in pitch shifter. It’s not particularly great but it does the job.

yeah I’ve got a few pitch shifters allready … but I allways notice some quality loss even with small shifts .. i want something that works really well with out having to buy a hardware sampler … (stand alone program would be ok as long as it did the job!)

                    SHHH!

The one in cubase 6 is far superior to anyother pitch correction out … but I can’t afford it. 😥
