I got arrested yesterday morning for possession of a class A drug. I was lucky they didnt find the entire amount, but thats not the point.
I got found with only 1g of mdma, was cuffed and taken to the station.
The reason im making this post is, i was caught with a gram, £40 worth and on my caution it said £4 worth.
Is that pigger now boshing my stash? or has he stated a lower amount to make it possible for my caution?
Either way, im glad im free. :horay:

May 7, 2006 at 7:22 pm #1072528it happens a lot
i know a guy who was caught with 500g of weed (first ffence)
at the station it was 240g and in court it was down to 20g
he argued that he’d just been through a messy divorce and didn’t want to turn to drink, as alcohol is addictive and was now getting counselling
he got off with a fine for possession
May 7, 2006 at 7:25 pm #1072525unless you are always constantly getting caught most cops only issue a caution for small amounts of any drug held for personal use – even if it is crack or heroin. the actual street value doesn’t matter.
most forces do this now as putting young users through Court just makes them do more crime/anti social behaviour – they may become estranged from their family or lose out on employment/eductation opportunities and decide to take the anger back to the society which has judged them.
Some cops do nick drugs for their own use but there is more random drug testing these days. About 11 years ago they tried “undercover” ops to infiltrate the rave scene because of the Leah Betts case and the links being formed with the wider protesters/political activists networks.
many of these operations failed dismally as cops got into the rave/drug culture themselves and had to be dismissed from the force – at a cost of hundreds of thousands of pounds in lost public money (cost of training, salaries etc)

I’m still thinking properly, if i wasnt i’d be in prison now..it was just bad timing and i got searched.
I’m not as bad as it sounds, and im sure my life will be back on track some time within this year..
But thankyou for your concern
May 7, 2006 at 9:45 pm #1072531Thing is why do ya reckon you were searched, secondly i wouldn’t have been happy if someone i was with at a party got arrested, you have got a long life ahead of ya why you want a record, i have noticed a change in you, take some advice from me yeah and take up a sport or hobby and think about the good things you want in your life. I care thats why i am here for you, don’t take the piss though, i feel for ya but the position you are in is your choice at the end of the day. Get out and play and have fun. africa pulls clackstaan’s ear :surprised
May 7, 2006 at 9:49 pm #1072542We got searched about 5 miles away from the party on the way home. Got pulled over because our car had a dent in the door.
They then searched us.
I’m not as shady as you make it sound.
May 7, 2006 at 10:00 pm #1072532I never said ya shady at all, i don’t wanna know anymore details, i am concerned for ya cause i care, you may understand me if we meet, maybe i have said too much on here but i said how i feel.

this used to happen to me and my mates loads when we first started raving; and I’m talking early 90s.
drugs are illegal, the late night economy doesn’t exist outside towns and any group of young people driving around in a rural area at an odd hour is always likely to be searched by traffic cops, particularly if there is a rave in the vicinity
make sure you know at all times what you and your mates may be carrying!
incidentally I’ve got two cautions and although they don’t really bother me and aren’t anything major they can count against you in later life.
I work in healthcare organisations now and have to declare them – I still got the job but had there been more competition and my rival had a clean record it may not have been as easy. Also I may have problems getting into Malaysia now because of them which is hassle as my extended family live there!

Why cant you take my comment seriously? thats not very nice or reasnoble is it?
Its true the law with regards to drugs is stupid
hence police bending the law to make their lives easier
May 11, 2006 at 11:49 am #1072548dont knock it
he was getting out of some paperwork and allowing you a caution

1G IS 30quids worth!!! Ripped. :/
May 11, 2006 at 11:57 am #1072535well should be anyway..
May 11, 2006 at 12:49 pm #1072529A system that makes criminals of casual users, most of whom hold down jobs in the week, pay taxes and love thy neighbours etc is absolutely wrong. If you get even a caution, as General Lighting said, you still have to declare it and so it makes it harder to get jobs. Drug users are looked on like the shit on the shoe of humanity, even though they have been part of society since man first evolved. Only advice I have is to conceal everything extremely well and don’t get wankered then stumble around public places at silly o clock.
May 11, 2006 at 1:08 pm #1072527from the further info clackstaan added (i.e he wasn’t about at an odd hour) I get the impression the cops are going back to the “old skool” way of dealing with raves and ravers and just stopping any likely bunch of young people driving through a town who might have been at a rave
mind you this was all over all the archant and johnston local papers/websites…
Bedfordshire, TVP are also doing the same sort of thing, searching ravers as well as crew people.
there are also a few more cops now, 9/11, the dot-com crash, jobs being outsourced and 7/7 have created unemployment combined a primal sense of nationalism; which encourages more people to join up!
I reckon these days even some burned out ex-ravers from the 90s are now in uniform – or perhaps sometimes even in plain clothes (which is why we can’t assume that cops don’t know exactly how ravers think and operate!)
