Mungoit was quite a nice school, just there’s always a few kids who lose and I happened to be one of them.
December 7, 2010 at 7:12 pm #1232402AnonymousHi 1984 ,
My parents moved from the village i was born to a local town , half way through infants school . I was bullied by 7 kids that were in a gang , right up till senior school . Cut a long story short it took me to lose my wrag and beat one of them to stop it all . My school life up till that point was run to classes and run home or get caught and get beat up . Kids can be soo nasty !!!!regards
mungoDecember 7, 2010 at 7:16 pm #1232412I had that problem in junior and middle/prep school (yes, I did briefly go to a posh one) due to (obviously) not being white, and as I’m not a big guy my response was often to use whatever part of my body I could or whatever came to hand. This got me in a fair bit of trouble.
High school was actually OK and I wasn’t unpopular – but it all just got boring from 1987 onwards and exams nearly fucked my head over big time, very nearly sectioned. Lost touch with all my friends from there though, just as well in some cases as many are inside for various things, but even the good folk faded away into obscurity..
I am glad I do not have to do any sort of formal education these days..
December 7, 2010 at 7:23 pm #1232403AnonymousHi General Lighting ,
I agree im glad i dont have to do any formal eduction as well , although i think if we did it wouldnt be so bad as we’d be in a class with grown ups . I think kids some times can be more nasty then adults . And as we are that bit older a bit more wise on how to act in some circumstances .regards
MungoDecember 7, 2010 at 7:23 pm #1232423I would comment gents but this is all making me feel a bit crap so I will avoid this thread for a bit. Not just not replying out of rudeness.

they were lax for years but since the war started the govt put in all sorts of old style rules on education. what must be really confusing is the names of chemicals (particularly those of importance to the pharmaceutical industry) have different spellings depending on where in the world you are.
IUPAC, the NHS and the US pharm industry have 3 names for the same chemical :crazy_diz
i’m alright at spelling, my parents used to ask me how to spell words they couldn’t when i was little. but there are many amazing physicists who are dyslexic (my teacher for example) and it’s not too good for them, i think it’s a stupid rule 🙁 i can be the difference between a grade.
