Anyone up north?

im up for setting another website up with just a discussion board and party page only …………..only techno though ,free parties been the main thing and any clubs that are playing techno no matter what size the club is, i have been to some quality little techno nights recently that could do with a little bit of promotion to keep them going.
im based in manchester/liverpool derbyshire areas so when i said north i was refering to
manchester
derrybshire
sheffeild
leed
york
liverpool
cheshire
birmingham
them general areas mainly around north west
i dont want loads of folk invovled, as its gets to sketchy, i want someone who has a fair bit of website knowledge and someone who knows about free parties and the laws around it, im fairly clued up on the second part, but website skills im not

i might restart an old website that dealt with all of this just have to rechange the name slightly
and kick it back into life as it was an on going free party site for 5yrs in the above named areas
just need someone into flash

think having just one genra of music is a bit rubbish…more music choice you have the better for popularity..
shame about the last site we all used to go on used to have a good bunch on there…raaa

yeah but i want to set up a techno free party website as no one really does , theres so little info out there for techno heads in the north and thats what im going to concetrate on ………………
ill let most parties get mentioned if there free, but any clubs wanting to put fliers up or if members place flyer’s for paying events . unless there techno nights its not happing, i know that might sound harsh, but its techno i belive in as far as dance music is,

love the idea of a techno site as we play techno, but i here what angel is saying. never organised a club night and i wouyldnt know where to start, its also to risky with cash layout if it dont work.

obviously cant complain if someone makes a site that’s for techno parties only, its their site afterall, NTA was pretty much all genres on the forums, it didnt get too cluttered tho. personaly i’d still like to be kept in touch with jungle parties and that.

Personallly id like to have a northern PV although Tbh PV isnt just for southerners and does have a fair few norhtereners on it. The good thing about the NTA website was altough it started off obviously being affiliated with one single rig in the last year it was pretty much a message and conatct board for everybody up north, which was handy for more than just finding out about free parties. Shame its gone.

same. i lived in suffolk for 18yrs, birmingham for 7yrs and sheff for nearly 2 years. not sure how to class myself. best place i lived was definitly brum, although im sure some people will disagree..

Hi all Josh from NTA here sorry about the board going down, but too much grief for the other guy running it cuased him to shut it down. Not nice to bitched about when your runnign a free info service. Would be up for assisting in a new board, PM me if you’d like my input or if anyone would ever like to ask me to play at a northern techno party :weee: :weee: :weee:
Up for assisting in getting another board running if done in the right way.
