deep fried marsbars are fucking tasty. i used to eat them all the time when i was at school. Also has anyone ever had a deep fried pizza? now they are horrible.

Apparently this is because Scottish fishermen sail down here occasionally (and presumably did so more often in the past when there was more North Sea fishing).

Glasgow’s chippies are shite as they don’t do chippie sauce. Fair play they have a better selection than most English chipies but no chippie sauce….you might as well eat your own hands.

Menu the size of a house, 50p to deep fry anything and gold star brown sauce. My particular favourite is a doner kebab calzone….deep fried. Using chilli sauce instead of tomato sauce on the pizza.

I’m in Glasgow quite alot so yes. Also been a chippie on Mordonvale estate in Edinbrough & a couple in Stirling. I’m sat here typing this in a Rangers shirt….raaa Still yet to see a mars bar in a chippy in Scotland maybe I’m going to the wrong chippies.
