deep fried marsbars are fucking tasty. i used to eat them all the time when i was at school. Also has anyone ever had a deep fried pizza? now they are horrible.

i dont even live in Scotland. This was in Suffolk. Thank god for Jamie Oliver. To be fair it wasnt on the school menu, but a van used to sell them outside school.

the deep fried mars bars are also sold in Shotley and a few other places round here. Apparently this is because Scottish fishermen sail down here occasionally (and presumably did so more often in the past when there was more North Sea fishing).

Have you ever been to Scotland?

Glasgow’s chippies are shite as they don’t do chippie sauce. Fair play they have a better selection than most English chipies but no chippie sauce….you might as well eat your own hands.

Edinburgh chippies rock.

Menu the size of a house, 50p to deep fry anything and gold star brown sauce. My particular favourite is a doner kebab calzone….deep fried. Using chilli sauce instead of tomato sauce on the pizza.

As for the organic eating….I eat everything I only cook with organic stuff. I am Scottish afterall.

Chippie sauce is gold star brown sauce. Its liek brown sauce with far too much vinegar in it. Everyone thinks it’ll be rank but I’ve never met a non weegie that doesn’t like it.

As for the organic eating….I eat everything I only cook with organic stuff. I am Scottish afterall.

I’m in Glasgow quite alot so yes. Also been a chippie on Mordonvale estate in Edinbrough & a couple in Stirling. I’m sat here typing this in a Rangers shirt….raaa Still yet to see a mars bar in a chippy in Scotland maybe I’m going to the wrong chippies.
