I got mates back home but I dont get to see them that often and Im trying to meet some more mummies in my area but they are all spoo boring! (ok obviously not all but the only ones I have met onlg have kne thing in common with me)Never mind…aciiid techno party soon!
March 22, 2013 at 9:14 am #1269885Im going to make a point to try and meet some likeminded and creative friends. Its hard though.

March 22, 2013 at 9:22 am #1269904Mezz’s post said it. Finding a job is a great idea. As he said it will reduce boredom and give you a chance to meet new people, but at the same time will provide structure and routine to your life (and for people who are used to the party lifestyle like myself) Sound very appealing. and obviously it’s good to eat healthily and exercise imo is VERY important both to function healthily and when coming off substances. it reduces boredom, it’s satisfying and releases Endorphins which could definitely help

I don’t deal with being alone very well, try find someone to hang out with, even if you’re not in the mood

There are loads of people like that in B-town mate, the place is brimming over with ’em. I’ll try and rack my brains as to where you could meet such types and let you know.

Bless ya, yeah well because I cant exactly go to the pub and meet people anymore I’m having to rack my brains a bit.
They do cheap courses at the friends centre which I’m looking into but they cost a little bit.March 22, 2013 at 12:12 pm #1269889@Izbeckistan 535414 wrote:

March 23, 2013 at 1:28 am #1269900Becky it isn’t easy to find such alternative minds as the kinds of people that have experienced a life full of free parties, illegal experiences, drugs, not believing in everything you see and hear on the telly… The more i ever tried to search for these kind of people right, the more i began to realize that it seemed as though almost everybody was brainwashed mate.
It’s unfortunate but so, that likeminded folk live quite a distance from you and you can’t all hang together every day but i guess if you could be with them every day, you might never truly appreciate their minds (in the eyes of the universe)
Will blether on when i see ya in person lol 😉March 23, 2013 at 1:30 am #1269901If you were wanting to go out and make friends with mums, would you reLLY Have much in common, because to be honest all they wanna discuss is big brother, and that living in essex, and that chef show too like.?

giving up drinking, drugs and having mental health issues is hard sometimes.
Don’t think I have left the house in a week.
I’ve not read this thread but I think I know you a little bit to say drugs and alcohol arnt the way honey
What do you like doing? What can you afford to do? What can you do that’s voluntary that you might have to invest a little bit in? Or what can you do that’s totality voluntary that you may enjoy?
Let me know if there is anything you think I can hook you up with as I have only met you quickly but I see great prospect in you, you seem as if you have a lot to give ( and you know I don’t bullshit) and I understand you’re situation – dont let this be a reason to give up x x

Agreed 🙂 I am doing quite well actually soba wise. Just my actual social and work life that’s dead. Looking to volunteer just takes time to sort. All will be well I am sure 🙂
Hope you are doing good TG

I have plans and ideas and am in contact with some people but would rather not say on here 🙂
April 2, 2013 at 4:22 am #1269895I find daily routine to be really boring.. I think doing the same thing over and over again can drive a person nuts. Being spontaneous really helps, for me anyways. Although alone time is always good, I find when I spend more than 2 nights alone, I get really lonely and I start talking to my stuffed animals haha… I know it’s really weird and that’s why I can’t be alone for too long. I think trying new things that you would never even think of trying can boost a person’s mood instantly, trying new things or learning new skills is always a good thing to keep you going.
April 2, 2013 at 12:28 pm #1269894Yes. Ironically I feel surrounded by lonely people.
