I think there’s quite a few good club nights around nottingham/leicester area – dabble and others do deep house events, and London’s Random Sounds put on club nights in Leicester for D&B…

there are really good nights in Nottingham from time to time. I’ve seen (and met) Roni Size with Tali and Rahzel. My last amazing night, surprisingly was Mr Scruff. It was unbelievable! My friend and I prerolled many Js and smoked the night away. If he ever comes ure way…
mr scuff is amasing. he wont play unless he has at least three hours – he had his own stage at bristol essential! the dude is militant, he just turns up and goes thru hios set like a man at work, so patient and subtle with his mixes. ive heard a lot of people bitch about him, but they have never heard his full set…you have to be there from start to finish or it doesn’t make sense!

went to brights for the first time this month…only went to ocean rooms tho to see bailey and such. My first roll and twas truly mind-blowingly amazing. Is that considered a good club in brighton? Reminded me a lot of ‘the bomb’ in Nottingham. Low roof and underground feel…
have a search on the site for brighton clubs – ive put a few nights at the ocean rooms, and while it has a lush f1 sound system, the managers are cokehead wankers who dont care bout music. and theres no where to project to. still had some wicked nights there.
Nah! Ocean rooms is bollox! Had some great nights there, but its gone really awful. The decor is dire, the drinks/entry are way too expensive, and (I’m sorry use, but) the system is shite! F1 turbo it may be, but its all treble. Fucking crap if you ask moi!
