I replaced a driver in one of my DB Technologies speakers recently with a supposedly upgraded Eminence driver and when I heard it I wished that I had used the original driver. Unfortunately I couldn’t find a source for the original driver and the repairer that I used to go to has now retired so I had to use something different. Alto TS115A woofer is about blown (Allthough it still works, it sounds a bit distorted). Had a look at the driver & it has a scratchy feel about it when i manually work the diaphragm in & out……..so it sounds like it’s on it’s way out. I use this as a keyboard monitor cab.
