Funnily enough I did ponder about the title but i didn’t think anybody would be so anal/passionate about defining the word retro, it is their headline after all.

i’m an antiques dealer who specialises in 1950s-1970 retro antiques. its took me many years of experience to get to where i am.
its like me starting up a shop selling vegie burgers made of meat would it be anal for a vegitarian shop to kick off over that? or me selling battry eggs rebranded as free range.
its bloody hard work selling antiques but thank god some people want the real thing and like real quality where as 90% of people settle for tat & ikea shite.
July 12, 2008 at 10:55 pm #1175899I know many people who trade in antiques and retro/vintage gear and would share your passion, i’m not knocking it nice to see you have the fire .
I’d rather support a local business like this than Ikea, like i said it was one of the only independent shops in the area they had some gifts that made me and my friends laugh, simple as that.
Ill tap you up next time though :weee:
