to be fair i never gave two shits about the fucking things

used to be thumbin a lift 10 mins before each exam, thats if i could be fucked to turn up, i didnt really finish school tbh, i was allowed in for exams though

never did me any harm
lot of other things did like
but fucking off school didn’t

exams should be eliminated, they are an unfair and harbour an unhealthy compettitiveness between schools and students, the national curriculum doesnt cater for individual needs and aspirations, its all a load of bollocks

i am soooo jealous, i am really really interested in the cold war/USSR etc. and consequent troubles from the demise of the USSR. there’s a post from like 2 years ago on here of me asking for books on the subject!

our history syllables was railways, medicine through time, some monastery/monks shit and britain 1815-1851

i think it was probably a different exam board

did the cold war in history as well. Had an interest in the cold war and all that piece of history ever since. We also did elvis, so to speak

just realised how old that makes me feel, the tail end of the cold war was in my youth!

glad to hear its being taught in schools though as it shouldn’t ever be overlooked how close things got to nuclear war, even as recently as the 1980s

even today East Anglia is shaped by the cold war and also the current war!
