I’ve started rolling out an upgrade of all our internet radio streams from 192kbs to 256kbs sound quality starting with the following: Breakbeat, Techno, Dubstep and Psychedelic Trance channel. The remaining channels (Reggae and Ambient) will be upgraded in the next 24 hours.

I have tested all the upgarded radio channels now and can report that I have had no trouble what so ever. It sounds damn nice and have not yet experienced any buffering.

This is a really good improvement in sound quality – we are now ahead of the BBC and other national broadcasters in online sound quallity 🙂
