Hippy movement wasnt killed off by that, most the hippies just grew up
CJB was decades later, a way of controlling the masses by not allowing them to congregate freely, and shepherding the youth back into taxable entertainment like clubs full of booze
my take on the question (admittedly I cant remember if I read it all), was over the generations the ‘movement’ sort of evolved in to ‘new age travellers’ and the CJB did have a big part of killing off that movement
I recon a lot of hippies (from the 60’s, if thats what we’re talking about) I know are still out there, but they brought up their kids and as you say grew up, but retain their youthful ambiance (well the ones I know anyway) and there are still a few communes and some in vehicles but usually on site or home and vehicle – lots of the festival lot (the festivals I go to) that are around 50-60yrs old, maybe they hibernate in the winter and work the summer?

Finally got some decent medication to manage the pain due to my amputation/tendon damage. Hope it works because I am getting a tad fed up with it. Now I just need to deal with the mild PTSD grrrrrr
Good to hear hon!
If you having PTSD symptoms, go see your GP, ask for a referral to IAPT and ask for EMDR, v good treatment for PTSD and much (IMHO) better than CBT for PTSD. Sure your misses’ll know 😛damn i was beaten to the goose

what is now called RnB
I used to love RnB but not his ‘modern stuff’, and I’m not a huge fan of ‘grindcore’ or ‘death metal’
apart from that I like lots of styles from disco, metal, industrial, house, minimal. dub, country, reggae, DnB, Psy and some pop

5? 5 pairs of boots? Unless you’re an octopus or Imelda Marcos, that’s a little excessive mate!
Well, I’ve resorted to super gluing my boots together and not the best look for work,
Got 4 pairs for the price of one by one particular brand whom I love and splashed out and got some great dm’s in the sale whick’ll last me prob 15 years 🙂
But yep, I Am rather imelda in the grand scheme of things, but boots and trainers rather than shoes…
