I think I’m also of the mind that legal events are now a no-go. You’re ending up donating money to a club to be proverbially spat on.

Sounds like the organisers and security crew at EoL were being complete cunts 🙁

Don’t let it put you off legal nights though, I think it just depends which one you go to and their ethos behind it. I had my best night ever at Tribe of Frog at Lakota… the guys running that were a complete contrast to EoL. The atmosphere was amazing, so friendly, and they’d been putting up decor for days so every single surface was covered in UV banners and decoration. And the chill out room at the top floor blew my mind… loads of great big flapping butterflies in the ceiling, rainforest like effect all around. And a spot next to it to buy hot chai tea, bananas, and brownies… such good vibes 😀 😀

Hey hobbynobby! Sounds similar to me, I’m 32 and just started exploring this world… and very quickly learned that tripping with friends or hitting up free/outdoor parties rather than clubs is so much more fun, relaxed, and meaningful. So hang out, make some friends and connections here, and you’ll soon be crossing things off your list 😀

So I’ve been using PV for about a month now and I’ve yet to find any other users who listen to hardstyle. Anybody else out there enjoy the works of Showtek, Dutch Master, Blutonium Boy and Southstylerz????

I love hardstyle! Guess I’m not in the loop cos I haven’t heard of any of those names, but bounce to Josh+Wesz, Wildstylez, Shockerz, Headhunterz (wow… I guess with hardstyle it’s mandatory to end your name in a z…)

Henceforth I shall be known as sungazerz! 😀

Mmm, I got a big pot of dried curry sauce from some chinese supermarket few months ago. Couple tablespoons of that in the microwave with a jug of water, and I got lashings of thick tasty chinese-takeaway-style curry sauce to be poured on literally anything! 😀

I’d be up for a meet. There’s an Art of Psychedelia event in London on 15th/16th that I’d love to find people to go with 😀

Hi, welcome to PV! AMT is great choice – I love the stuff!

If it’s the very first time you’ve tried it, and if this is the first of the batch you’re going to take, then me being the cautious person I am would say take 20mg and wait an hour, just to ensure you haven’t been sold poison/something else or that your body isn’t abnormally sensitive to it, then take the rest. It’s a 12 hour plus trip, so waiting one at the start isn’t gonna dent it that much. Might feel a bit nauseous but that’s normal and will pass, and 20mg should be enough to let you know somethings going on…

I’ve found 50mg is about perfect for me. Tried 25mg first time, 50mg second, 80mg third but the physical side effects of that – lotsa jaw clenching and I literally wasn’t able to pee for several hours despite being utterly busting – weren’t compensated by any extra trippyness, so I’ve sorta settled on 50mg. And hey, if you got 100mg… makes it easy to just split it in half to get 50mg, assuming you don’t have milligram scales 😀

Once you know what you’ve got is AMT and your body is fine with it, you can knock back the rest in one go, next time.

Oh wow it sounds like you’re so close… if you’re questioning whether your dreaming within a dream, you’re just a fraction away from realising you are! Try thinking something positive like “If this was a dream, I’d be able to shoot fire from my hands at these guys” and then try it and see if it works 😀

Seen Inception? There’s a vivid scene in that movie where the girl is ‘dreaming’ and gets stabbed my someone… doesn’t look like much fun… if you’ve seen that movie perhaps your brain is just fixating on it and knowing where you got the idea from will allow it to sort it away and forget about it.

If not, then once it’s happened a few times and because it’s recurring you should be able to recognise that you’re in a dream. Like, concentrate on learning the build up to you being stabbed, recognise the signs, and if you manage to click that you’re in a dream then you’ll experience something incredible cool – a lucid dream! From the point you go to your ‘wait, this is a dream’ then you should be able to just change your environment cos you have ultimate power. Flick whatever’s going on away, jump into the air, and go flying…

In general? More puritanical and uptight than Europeans, irrationaly god-fearing and anti-science (or even common sense). Very militaristic and biased towards their armed forces, and reluctant to concede they ever get things wrong or willing to think about things from anothers point of view. Pretty arrogant about their status as a super-power, belief that their laws trump other places, and that their citizens should get special treatment. Terrified of ‘terrorism’ (guess it replaces the ‘communist’ boogeyman). Inexplicably in favour of extreme capitalism despite the fact that 99% of you would be better off if you didn’t let the corporations+extreme rich run your lives.
