I’m working as 3D Solid Edge draughtsman for a company that makes bespoke food industry machinery. I love it, all industry old boys there and there’s no political correctness. I’m gonna stay for a couple of years and then do some management training and really kick off my career then.

My mistake then, I misread the part where you said she had served you it before. Really grinds on me when people are nasty to staff in shops like that is all, most of them think that its “okay because it’s your job” to put up with that kind of shit.
I do stick by the can’t withdraw the question bit because you never know if someone will over hear it and say “well you let him off” when they don’t have ID either. I certainly wouldn’t risk the £5k fine for it and nobody at my previous store would.
Co-Op operates a policy where you get asked for ID if you look 25 or younger. Its people like you that make working in a shop a nightmare; if you don’t have your ID with you and get asked because you can’t read the policy signs that are put up everywhere it isn’t the cashier’s fault. When I was working in a Co-Op last year I had no end of people like you being abusive for this reason. It isn’t a power trip and even if you try and convince the cashier they can’t withdraw the question under ANY circumstance. Once it has been asked and you fail to produce it the cashier is obliged by company policy to decline the sale, regardless of what you say afterwards. If you know other people in the shop who have served you you could have gone and asked them if they’d be willing to do it, but if she hadn’t previously sold it to you and you then couldn’t produce satisfactory proof of age then its your own fucking fault.
I’ve ID’d people who were 29 and 34 previously but they looked under 25 so I had to ask.
Don’t be an abusive twat, bring your ID in future. You never know when they might bring other staff in and you’ll have this problem all over again.

As long as you use different coloured wires and connect red to red and black to black you’ll be fine lol.
I’m not saying buy what they say, I’m just saying that they might be able to fill in his understanding a bit and be able to make his own informed choices.
I’m not that accomplished with audio equipment myself so if anyone else has any ideas feel free to weigh in!
Fair enough, I still suggest you find a local audio shop and have a chat with the people there as well though.
What I suggest you do is do what I’ve done, buy an auxilliary cable that splits the audio out from your pc to the amp and run your sub off the amp and but a couple of nice satellite speakers.
You could do but an amp is good to have otherwise you might just damage your mixer up if its drawing too much power through it. If the sub doesn’t have a power connection attached to it then you don’t need to power it that way.
You need to buy an amp with sub output first, specially for 1200W. Buy some decent audio cable as well, should be about £5 per meter.
I’d suggest going into a dedicated audio shop and asking them about it, they’ll explain everything you need to know and be able to suggest what sort of amp you need.
I’d love to come but I’m currently looking for a summer job so availability isn’t something I can comment on at the moment so its a bit up in the air.
