We have 2 lava lamps, a UV light, a jimi hendrix psychedelic canvas print, various trippy posters and psychedelic trip toys but they only come out when we’re having a 2CB session.

Didn’t ever do anything noticeable for me. Bought it when I was caining the pills at the weekends hoping it’d easy my comedown, no luck.
Tried taking it every day as well, didn’t seem to help me in anyway.
A lot of people swear by it for comedowns tho.
I tried everything to minimise the comedown, 5htp, anti oxidants, multi vitamins etc. It didn’t make me feel any better but couldn’t have done any harm I suppose.

The Nu-rave term apparently came about in an interview with NME when one of the Klaxons said “new wave” and it was mis-heard / mis-interpeted as “nu-rave” and since then the label stuck.
Kasabian surely don’t get labelled as Nu Rave by anyone??
What annoys me is that the Klaxons actually have the cheek to say that the songs they are sampling / ripping off were shit and they’ve made them into decent tracks. A bit of respect for the original tracks and artists would be good.

I found out later that he had never intended on going at all. He was just going for a look to see if it was on. His problem is that’s he’s under the fucking thumb and his missus doesn’t approve and would have had a right moan if he’d went. She was in a mood because we went up for a look and was accusing us of “being up to something”. :you_crazy

Friday night was good, went to see Blondie at Edinburgh Castle. Was a sober affaird and we had seating tickets, the seats don’t even face the bloody stage and we were about 3 miles away. We sneaked into the standing bit a few songs in where it was much better.
Saturday and Sunday were extremely boring, I spent 10hrs trying to fix my laptop on Sat and made no progress. Sunday spent doing uni work. Not very exciting.

Oooof! Doesn’t sound good. Heard really good things about Antiworld in the past as well. Think there may have been a few people on another forum I visit going, I’ll need to see what they have to say.
