Sorry theres no real hope for you in ipswich,

most of my family live there an its not really endorsed the rave culture, everyone seems happy enough to stay punks or goths ect, and eat shit loads of cheap speed,

i live near cambridge an got into the scene quite young, as i live 3/4 mins from the heydon barns an met a local rave crew through college (respect to du),

i have cousins of the same age in ipswich an they just havent heard of raves, or free partys or anything close to underground dance music ect

its not that there not the type, they took rugs a few yrs b4 i started, its jus theres nothing to push them towards raves

you can get spangled in most pubs with out hassle, except drunk thugs swinging at anything in front of them, so theres no real need to set up free partys for freedom to use drugs

i doubt the pigs would handle partys to well round there either, there used to voilent drunks, not loved up hippys, so they’d probably bring down the roit gear an take no prisioners

ill hook you up with some numbers for cambridge if u want, its only 45mins drive or an hour on train, theres 3 crews in the town so theres summint monthly at least, an u definitly wudnt be the oldest person there, thanks to our ravin grandad rufus

i have to agree tho in east anglia it does seem to be under 25’s only, i suppose its quite a pricy area to live an peeps cant afford to party all night long and keep up morgage repay ments

also theres only farm land in the surrouding country side, nothing left to waste/or rave on

theres lots of common land around cambridge so we have areas that the pigs cant kick us off (unless we take the piss)
