Methedrone is 4-Methoxymethcathinone or PMMC (or bk-PMMA)
Methadrone is synthetic opioid and is the first compound to be named in the topic title. Is it possible to get this changed to prevent any misunderstandings.
Spot on General Lighting. I have to say reports like captain’s are too common where the other already illegal drugs are ignored as with Teenager dies of ‘net drug’ overdose – The Local where the “net drug” is listed as the cause of the problems.
I also fear that the response to legal highs will be used in anti-legalisation arguments saying “Look what happened when people had easy access to legal drugs. If we legalise drug X everyone will go batshit on it and die”
However the glimmer of hope comes from what people are saying after they have had bad experiences with RC’s. Never again seems to come across very strongly.

MAOI’s are a class of anti depressants which by definition provide mood lifts so it would make sense. Cocaine, MDMA, meth and mephedrone are all SSRI’s (Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors) Taking large doses of these and particularly mixing them results in serotonin syndrome of which mental confusion and particularly tremors are major symptoms. Anti-Depressants are other examples of SSRI’s hence why stimulant use is not recommended while taking them.
Serotonin syndrome can lead to coma and death if it’s particularly bad so go for slightly lower doses when you’re planning on mixing stims.
Except for captain. Go nuts. Chuck in some MAOI’s in your stimulants for added fun.

I’ve never really understood the drinking and stimulant mixing. Ethanol is a CNS depressant while mephe is a CNS stimulant so surely it’s just counterproductive to take both?
