Sj is a noble experiment in free speach, there is alot of dross on there, but when a good topic gets going, its pretty amazing to hear the depth and variety of opinion on there.

Sadly for every 1 interesting person there are about 10 absolute idiots.

After the busts based on evidence from the site, it changed completely, people are no longer allowed to talk about parties, which is a good thing from a security point of view, but kind of sad at the same time.

I think its amazing how much regulars on there have given to the party scene over the years, to view it without knowing the ins and outs, you would think its just a haven for retards.

I like it though, met some wicked people from there.

we live in a different society now with more entertainment choices than even 15 years ago. I cant imagine a huge underground youth movement happening in the same way rave did.

That is not to say that it wont happen, just that it will have to happen in a new way.

to be honest i have to agree with general lighting on this one.

From the evidence of that video (i am sure that its not even close to the full picture.) the parties seem a far cry from british affairs. I would be interested to know how much of the idealistic talk on the video was for real.

I only ever come up with ideas they dont want to use.

My last one being a programme that recreated famous news pictures with the people in them being reunited on the spot the photo was taken years later.

the format could work with something was important as a war time picture or something as fluffy as a streaker at a sports game.

(they said no – I got asked to work in development a few times – they are all rubbish at drinking so i said no)
