😥 😥 😥
Had a beautiful 205gti for 11 months, got insured for £400 for the year at the age of 20, then last month (i’m hidelously ashamed to say) had a bit of an ‘incident’ in it.
😥
Now demoted to a 306 td, costing me £680 a year to insure, which isn’t so bad i guess. They’re insurance group 5 so good for a first car.
I want my 205gti back :hopeless:

Put your money back in your pocket and do some proper research in to what you are about to presently planning to run into blind.
Sorry to make judgements but from what you have posted in this thread IMO you do not know nearly enough to be correctly selecting, buying and using speakers just yet. Understand a bit about how it all works and what you want to do first, otherwise it WILL be wrong and you WILL waste your money. Guaranteed.
Either that or blast your money on a load of mismatched junk that you won’t be suitable for use and will sound as good as a cheesegrater coupled with a pair of bellows.
If you MUST have something right now, perhaps consider something like the Void Basys system.
http://www.proaudioparts.co.uk/void.asp (Top of the page)
Specs: http://www.voidaudio.com/product_detail.asp?id=46
Its all-in-one, practically plug-and-play, you get all the gear needed to go included (Flight case for the amp, cables e.t.c) and more importantly its all matched and designed to work together.
If you come out with ‘nah but that looks shit’ that would perfectly exemplify my earlier point.
Take time and think about it, or you will fail.
🙂

Not checked out anywhere else round here other than BSE occasionally for Studio 3 (which was a bit smaller than I initially expected it to be…)
the thing though with living in a shitty town/city is if you can make a good network of friends (which I am just starting to do) you can always find some way to enjoy yourself and have a bit of fun…

I see. I was at West Suffolk College for the past 2 years doing a BTEC in Audio Engineering (which i’ve finished now), but i still end up in Studio 3 for the Rupture/Inspya nights bi-monthly because i know the guys who own both the rigs (and i play a set), you should come for them, they’re wicked.
Always good to meet up with more of the local crewraaa (badgerside!)

i’ve been to Ipswich once this year, to go to the hosptial :shy:
I’m sure its safe, but never really inspires me to go anywhere near the place.
Moving away for the win!!
