another potential problem would be intereference; most operate as analogue audio around 863? (Mhz) just off the end of the UHF TV frequencies.
They are therefore susceptible to external interference sources such as bouncers/club management personal radios; taxicab sets; mobile phones and the old bills airwave radios (the last two will create an annoying buzzing sound in the cans!)
