      Hey!

      My name DayMan, and I am a singer producing a mixtape to showcase my work! The mixtape will have four songs and be free, so that anyone can download it. However, I would like to have a deluxe version of the mixtape with three additional songs (produced with original instrumentals) to charge a little bit for, as an incentive to support the music.

      I am currently in search of a capable producer who could help me with these three songs for the deluxe version. They would be given credit and are welcome to a share of the profits from the use of those songs 🙂

      The genre I am looking into producing would be something along the lines of Nu Disco/Electronica/indie pop/ house type music, similar to the artists: Mystery Skulls, Miami Horror, and Capital Cities.

      Ive produced two songs of four already from the mixtape and if anyone is curious as to the singing, you’re welcome to ask for them so you can hear. I hope you understand that I’m glad to personally let you hear them, but I don’t want them elsewhere until the mixtape a actual release 🙂

      I look forward to meeting with anyone who would like to help! Also, if you would like to help me in any other way, I look forward to meeting you as well, and know that in return to those who help me I would be glad to offer my assistance 🙂

        welcome 🙂 nothing “wrong” with using this site for finding people to help you make music (thats what is was set up for; a year before Google (let alone Soundcloud) existed) – there can be a minimum post number before the private message functions open up or you can put a signature/homepage in your profile (I don’t know what it is myself; it changes to discourage spammers).

        It is worth checking on this forum regularly as I often notice folk who are producing something post on here (or elsewhere); expect immediate responses and then disappear when they don’t get them; then just a few weeks or a month later someone who would have been ideal to work with them turns up.

        Bear in mind also many of the Americans are on the rave-forum part of this site (Rave-Forum is a forum about music, festivals, party going and raving.)

        its worth signing up there as well (if you need to register again you can use the same username and email).

        you can also link soundcloud and youtube content to any of the forums…

          Yes, I haven’t had lots of time but I’ve been looking at the work of other producers here and I’ve been pleasantly impressed! I think I’ll look into the signature thing! ALso linking my soundcloud/youtube.
