I occasionally use it for reading but find the screen way too small for typing. However I’ve recently been experimenting with an HTC Desire that has the Cyanogen mod and tried it out..

I’m not sure if this is how its supposed to work but it comes up as if the whole lot is blank until you click on “Topics”

but it otherwise seems to work

the links to PVR also work correctly, detecting that it is an Android mobile and provide what is shown as a 64k stream. I only monitored this on the phone loudspeaker as I was busy with running a DC power feed through a hole in a wall to a wireless router I had wallmounted outside the studio/workshop (otherwise the wifi is no good due to the amount of metal cased equipment connected to protective and signal earth) This meant the broadband in my house was out of action anyway (as the router had been switched off) so it was a good opportunity to test this.
