Also, cos I’m a lazy fucker, I didn’t remove the little box at the bottom of my screen that says ‘speed up browsing by disabling add-ons’. Consequently, this meant that part of the thread title was covered up and all I could read was ‘First Play With My D…’ I was kinda worried about what letters were gonna follow that!

reminded me of Dr Who / radiophonic workshop. I woke up in a bit of a haze due to some “assistance” required getting to sleep and on hearing that it did make me think

“I really shouldn’t have left that laptop switched on and charging connected to both the WLAN and the Huawei dongle (with no credit) to get text messages, now those Chinese blighters have sussed out what I am doing and they have transmitted a signal to let Daleks and other similar monsters into my house.” However I live in split level house with open pine staircase and they will all stack it one after the other and land up in the dining area outside the kitchen (which doubles up as a second workshop area).

I don’t need a sonic screwdriver when I have several normal ones, a 6V powered one and a 18V Li-Ion combi drill, one temp controlled soldering iron and a 200W capacity butane one, so by the afternoon them Daleks will be filling up my component storage – but I’m trying to clean up the damn house as it is and not hoard so much items, so I’d have to then get shot of all of the remains and thats bound to be a WEEE / hazchem disposal, which isn’t cheap or easy to arrange round here.
