in the UK health service the height and weight of patients is officially recorded in metric.
But I’ve also found that by using metric to describe my own height and weight, that often I can gain some height and lose weight whilst people try and convert this back into imperial units :laugh_at:

I had always thought everyone in Northern Europe who came from the original Germanic tribes (and where many Austrailians would have common ancestry) was very tall, but this is not the case – there are very tall and very short people.
For instance Armin Van Buuren is nearly 2m tall whilst Ferry Corsten is also 1.65m tall. Ørjan Nilsen is also quite short.
It is not uncommon for all 3 of them to be on the ASOT broadcast of Radio 538, I learned that their Hilversum studios are even set up that not only does the studio has sufficient space for everyone, the pioneer CDJs and Armin’s Mac, the desks can adjust in height between sections so each DJ has the correct height to avoid having to over stretch and risk any health problems…

I hate dating girls who are taller than me. Especially when they insist on wearing high heels so that they tower over me.
Also Ive found that couples of similar height are far more sexually compatible.
Also watch tall blokes who have been with their much shorter partner for many years, they tend to develop a stoop from hunching over. Very bad for the spine.

In the same sense it really rages me how i more often get guys who ara about a foot shorter than me and can see any nosehairs i might have (how they find that attractive is beyond me) always coming on to me and trying to get in with me yet nobody taller than me ever bothers, grrr. I’m leaving myself open for the taller men but i suppose every man just wants a walking head job!

Seriously, at leat 75%of them are at least 5 inches taller than I am. The one’s that are smaller are all with towering boyfriends well over 6 foot something.
