Whatever your thoughts on Daft Punk, you’ve got to appreciate the subtlety of the online vid. Happened to notice it by chance when listening to the track on YouTube. It looks like the usual still image of the single cover used for so many tracks without official vids attached. Apart for about 10 secs during the middle of the tune!! If you weren’t staring at the image you wouldn’t notice it. Class!

I hadn’t heard this. I love me a bit of Daft Punk but mostly the old stuff, theres some real gems on the Homework album man. I thought this was going to be shit cause of the singing but meh it didn’t actually ruin it too much.

For the record I hate the new daft punk album, just some catchy hook over and over with a dull 90s beat thing. Dam them (because I was sooo their demographic lol).

I have heard a lot worse though.

If you take the video at face value then yes. However, this is a play on youtube culture and I would imagine is designed specifically for Youtube and other streaming sites where people browse for music. A lot of these vids simply have a picture as the music is the main feature, so this plays on that idea and I would imagine most people would never even notice that it actually is a video. They know most people won’t notice, hence subtle!
