What software do you find most useful for writing music?
Depends if you are able to read and write stave music. Cubase pretty much sewed up that area a long time ago.
You don’t need to read and write stave music to make music, but it’s quite a useful skill.
Also, there is a big difference between people who MAKE music and people who PERFORM music. Some people can do both, but most are better at one or the other. Plenty of people who make music are scared shitless of performing in front of a crowd. ESPECIALLY if there are fellow musicians who they know in the crowd (more demanding audience).
