Who would you choose to narrate your life?
April 1, 2013 at 9:53 pm #1270898I’m not sure so I’ll see what you lot think.
April 1, 2013 at 9:54 pm #1270886This is even harder than choosing between Kirk and Picard.

For me it would be Picard but who’s Picard in this scenario?
April 1, 2013 at 9:58 pm #1270909Brian Blessed for the funny bits and Sean Bean for the rest with his Yorkshire accent 🙂
April 1, 2013 at 9:59 pm #1270908I picked Morgan Freeman, was an easy choice.

Hmmm, segment the dialogue. Good thinking. Attenborough for the most part and Freeman for the sexy bits perhaps
April 1, 2013 at 10:10 pm #1270907Morgan Freeman, as much as I respect David Attenborough his voice really, really grates after a while for me.
April 1, 2013 at 10:14 pm #1270893I would have voted Brian Blessed too
But out of the 2 choices given I’d go Attenborough, guy can be talking about pretty much anything and it’s kinda hypnotic, I never tune in to watch anything he does, but when channel hopping it just grabs me and I end watching 1/2 hour about some ant in Africa I would usually have no interest in yet somehow find it interesting………… how the fuck does he do that ?

April 2, 2013 at 9:31 am #1270895John Cleese or Eric Idle!

Lol, I was gonna put John cleese as an option but then decided just to stick with those two. Should have given a t’other option really but I deluded myself into believing people would stick to the options provided lol.

You believed that people wouldn’t be silly? On PV? Schoolboy error mate, ha ha!
April 2, 2013 at 6:21 pm #1270880Do you mean like if someone made a film about your life, who would you like to narrate it, or do you mean the voice is constantly narrating everything you do in your day-to-day life, wildlife documentary style (“he parks the car, gets out, buys a pay-and-display ticket… walks down the street… a bucket of piss lands on his head… etc..) – as that would be very annoying (but David Attenborough would get my vote).
April 2, 2013 at 6:24 pm #1270881oops double post…

Would make sense too as the BBC wildlife films were (maybe still are?) edited in Bristol….

Yep, the BBC Natural History Unit is still based here (so is Deal or No Deal – it’s made on an industrial estate on the Bath Road, but we don’t make such a fuss about that…)
April 2, 2013 at 7:45 pm #1270892Hmm Louis Theroux has a wise voice, as though he is constantly carefully considoring everything.
Or maybe Karl Pilkington, like I was staring in his infamous diary.

I hadn’t decided so I left it open for people to decide for themselves.
I’d love for one of my typical weekends to be recorded though and to watch it back with Attenborough narrating it, that would be funny as hell.
